Life Generator: How to get your kids to eat vegetables

A wonderful friend of mine who runs Skinny Sweets shared this youtube channel with me about a guy who calls himself the Life Generator. He's a huge advocate of juicing and eating RAW. His videos are also quite raw themselves, very down-to-earth and filled with just a genuine desire to get information out on organic eating. He and his family are so quirky, though, it's toe-cringing sometimes. Haha.

Take a look at this old home video he did with his kids. I thought it was amusing how they were a bit rough around the edges. Even the camera lens is blurry! Informative―and entertaining―video nonetheless.

Nevermind that they reuse the spoon that fell on the floor, or the girl rinses off leftover avocado with her saliva. :-/ The point of it all is the content (besides, you're smart enough to not do those things ;).

It may serve you well to also check out his other videos. He's got recipes, interviews and positive talks in his channel.

TGIF, everyone!

Updated Delivery Schedule: Wednesday & Friday

Hello friends!

Beginning next week, July 25th to 29th, we will be implementing our twice-a-week delivery schedule of Wednesday and Friday.

The great news is, we will be opening both days to all locations instead of the previous arrangement of specific delivery areas per day. This provides you, our customer, with more opportunities to have fresh harvest delivered straight to your door when you need them.

Thank you to all those who participated in our survey! We truly appreciate all your feedback and really discussed within the team which days were the most effective to serve you.  As half of you had suggested a weekend delivery, a good number of respondents raised valid concerns about the arrival of Saturday deliveries not making it in time for lunch prep. Eventually, we settled back to Friday instead of Saturday.

We hope to continually find the best and freshest ways to bring you your produce. Thank you all for making it a joy to serve you.

Skinny Sweets

des•sert   | diˈzərt |
noun
the sweet course eaten at the end of a meal : a dessert of chocolate mousse.

ORIGIN. mid 16th cent.: from French, past participle of desservir ‘clear the table,’ from des- (expressing removal) + servir ‘to serve.’
•••
Dessert is a course that typically comes at the end of a meal, usually consisting of sweet food. The word comes from the French language as dessert and this from Old French desservir, "to clear the table" and "to serve." Common desserts include cakes, cookies, gelatin, pastries, ice cream, pie, and candies. Fruit may also be eaten with the dessert.

Elimination of dessert foods may be a strategy used in dieting, in order to reduce the amount of calories, carbohydrates, or fat consumed.
