Updated Delivery Schedule: Wednesday & Friday

Hello friends!

Beginning next week, July 25th to 29th, we will be implementing our twice-a-week delivery schedule of Wednesday and Friday.

The great news is, we will be opening both days to all locations instead of the previous arrangement of specific delivery areas per day. This provides you, our customer, with more opportunities to have fresh harvest delivered straight to your door when you need them.

Thank you to all those who participated in our survey! We truly appreciate all your feedback and really discussed within the team which days were the most effective to serve you.  As half of you had suggested a weekend delivery, a good number of respondents raised valid concerns about the arrival of Saturday deliveries not making it in time for lunch prep. Eventually, we settled back to Friday instead of Saturday.

We hope to continually find the best and freshest ways to bring you your produce. Thank you all for making it a joy to serve you.

We now have an updated variety of Chicken Sausages by Delimondo including Chicken Pesto, Chicken Mediterranean and Chicken Curry. Do try them out as a grilled protein on your salad, or with brown rice and eggs. Yum :)

Hello friends!

Our current Market Price List has been updated to reflect some adjustments in price due to the rainy weather. Vegetables like snow peas are quite expensive now, and cabbage prices have also increased, so do take note of these changes.

On the brighter side, we are happy to announce some new items on the product list! The Green Grocer now carries herbs, organic red mountain rice, a few additional fruits, and of course, our latest but fastest selling product, Gourmet Bagoong from Chef Neil Ramos. 

Cilantro (wansoy) lovers, we are proud to inform you that our price per kilo is lower than grocery and palengke prices by as much as ₱100! It was such a beautiful sight to see our cilantro orders this morning looking as fresh as can be, having just been harvested from the farm. Can't get any better, really.

Lastly, to our dear Alabang and Makati customers, The Green Grocer will be delivering to you tomorrow! Orders will be dispatched for delivery as early as 7am. It's a jam-packed route, so kindly manage all expectations and expect your order within the day.

Updated Delivery Fees

Due to the high cost of gasoline and toll fees, The Green Grocer is applying a P50 delivery fee for ALL orders regardless of the total billed amount, effective immediately.

Here are our updated order and delivery regulations:

• Orders within Alabang require a ₱300 minimum order, and enjoy free delivery.
• Deliveries to Paranaque, Makati & Taguig require a ₱500 minimum order, with a ₱50 delivery fee.
• Meet-ups also apply a ₱50 delivery fee.
• Orders may also be picked up at our base in Alabang on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Orders are considered final and sold after the 5pm cut-off.

Before the rainy season starts, The Green Grocer is going to make one final attempt at getting some sun and sea this weekend.

On that note, please be advised that there will be no deliveries this Monday, May 23rd.

We will be happy to accommodate BF and Paranaque deliveries on our Makati & Taguig deliveries on Wednesday and Friday.

While we're away, feel free to email us your orders so that we can schedule them into the route ahead of time. Deliveries will be full on those days, so BF & Paranaque orders will be plugged in on a first-order, first-served basis.

The gorgeous Patty Laurel shared with us a quick and healthy dessert she made with the guimaras mangoes she bought from The Green Grocer:

Mangoes with Cottage Cheese

Cut your chilled ripe guimaras mangoes into cubes,
add cottage cheese, and serve in a pretty martini glass.

Try this in your next gathering with friends. It's a great alternative to that calorie-rich cheesecake you're always second-guessing to eat.

For variation, you can also use grapes and pomelo--or a mixture of all!
